Over 10 years of producing all original content we spent time with, photographed and interviewed every subject great and small. Australian Style won many awards, for literary standards to print craftsmanship. AH published the magazine independently for ~10 years before selling a 50% stake to Lachlan Murdoch in the early 2000’s, Australian Style banner is now owned by Kerry Stokes. 

For 10 years Andrea was publisher and Editor-in-Chief of award winning Australian Style magazine in Sydney, which she started in Perth in her late teens. Andrea secured a wide range of subjects for the magazine’s all original material - from Kylie Minogue, Nick Cave, Baz Luhrmann, Sarah Murdoch, Barry Humphries, Heath Ledger, Charles Blackman, Bono, Johnny Cash, Leonardo Di Caprio, all of whom contributed or participated in the magazines content; and started the careers of many who populate the top of the fashion and publishing industries today. Andrea ran all aspects of the business and the magazine, creating unique publishing history in Australia with the country’s most successful, long running independent title. The magazine produced award winning content and attracted the world’s leading advertisers (Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Moet Hennessy, Toyota etc). The magazine came to the attention of Mr Lachlan Murdoch who pronounced it to News Ltd editorial staff as ‘the blueprint of cool’, he purchased 50% of the magazine and together they increased the frequency, readership and advertising revenue leading to a successful trade sale within 4 years.
